Vehicle Identification Specialists (VIS) is a subsidiary of McPhee Enterprise Inc. based out Dimondale, Michigan. VIS specializes in forensically identifying motor vehicles of all types including those that have been stolen and recovered with all the factory identifying numbers removed, altered, and/ or obliterated.
VIS technicians are experts in the examination and identification of altered, assembled, salvage, and burned motor vehicles. VIS technicians are also experts in chemical restoration techniques of obliterated factory stamped VIN, HIN, PIN, and serial numbers.
VIS focuses identification efforts on passenger vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, truck tractors, semi trailers, construction/ farm equipment, and watercraft.
VIS also conducts private party Vehicle Vin Verification (V3) inspections, which can be extremely beneficial to lien holders and insurers as the financed or insured asset (vehicle) can be verified as genuine prior to any loan disbursement or the initiation of an insurance policy. V3 inspections are guaranteed to detect a multitude of fraudulent criminal activity as it relates to factory vehicle identifiers and titling documents. All V3 inspections include a detailed written inspection report and digital photographs, which will either VERIFY or DISQUALIFY the vehicle as genuine. Contact VIS for our V3 fee schedule.
